Inheritance without a clean teacher. She assembles a Jedi self from fragments, books, and enemies, and wins a sequel-era victory that answers despair with continuation. Real, thinner than Luke's refusal, and necessary if the tradition is more than one generation's miracle.

Luke vs Rey: both inheritance stories; only one is this garden branch's proof claim. Rey continues; Luke refuses the two false completions (kill the father / join him). Continuation matters. The compressive victory still matters more.
