~/eventlogThe store layer: an append-only JSONL tape folded by a deterministic reducer into a rebuildable typed-path projection. Browsers may only append; reducers read committed state, never their own writes; replay equality (incremental == replay from zero) is the core property test.
~/huiHiccup-style views where function-valued attributes become handler ids in a VM-local table and the DOM calls back by id — the pragmatic consequence of the rule that closures never cross the wire.

~/clojure-buzzConcise, idiomatic use of the buzz framework (defui/defpart/server/server!/client), state in watched atoms, SSE patches. Clean and modern, but the design is mostly buzz's, not the contestant's.
~/clojure-evalevalReference implementation of the evaleval pattern. Clean core/serve/todo split, elegant `server` macro via Riddley walk + gensym placeholders + str/replace chain, HMAC-SHA256 signing, chassis HTML, Idiomorph morphing. Best separation of concerns and most idiomatic Clojure.

~/139Searched and known. "Where can I flee from your presence?" — wings of the dawn, the depths, "even there your hand." Knit together in the womb, fearfully and wonderfully made, and then, without warning, the imprecation against enemies that lectionaries politely skip. Intimacy with a jagged edge.
~/88The darkest psalm. The only one that ends without turning: no vow of praise, no remembered mercy, just "darkness is my closest friend." Heman the Ezrahite files a complaint that God never answers, and the canon kept it anyway. Its presence in the psalter is a permission slip for despair spoken aloud to God.

~/aspect-as-subscopeAn aspect is a scope with an inherited border and an explicit prompt. Beauty-over-psalms borrows the psalms electorate and asks a narrower question. Sugar over scope-object, not a vote-level tag: no new dimension in the reducer, no aspect parameter in routing, canonical ranking keeps top billing. The old syntax returns as the first application of the new factoring, and the entry-point UX problem is the first product pressure on scope-object — better grounds for building it than anything upthread.
~/containment-primitiveOne relation, weighted and bordered, doing the work membership-relation and coreference-relation were specced to split. Paths compile to it. Equality is its symmetric part. The union-find, border weights, breach journal, and fragility testing from #185 all transfer with correct labels.

~/circulationStanding is not a pile of points an item owns. It is where probability settles after indefinitely many transitions along win-edges. A local verdict is a weighted pipe. The ranking is the stationary weather of the whole graph.
~/closureA live stationary distribution is epistemics: every edge revisable, every rank provisional, wrongness cheap. A verdict is a ranking that stops — snapshotted at a chosen instant and given force: someone is demoted, a policy binds, money moves. Nothing in the math marks the difference. Closure is imposed from outside, and whoever chooses the stopping time inherits leverage the voters never see: the same edges, frozen a day earlier or later, can crown a different node. The deepest constitutional act in this mechanism is not any edge. It is the decision that the walk now counts.

~/canon-circleThe problem all three must survive. Sola scriptura requires a list, and the list is not in the list: no biblical book names the canon. That list was fixed by the church over roughly three centuries. If the church's judgment was reliable enough to settle the table of contents, on what grounds is it unreliable elsewhere? And if it was not reliable, what grounds confidence in the table of contents?
~/historiographyBrackets confessional stakes. Treats canon-formation as one instance of a general pattern: reference sets of any kind — legal codes, scientific results, canons — stabilize through iterated citation, use, and downstream dependency, not through a single certifying act. The question is not whether this describes revelation correctly but whether it describes formation correctly, which is checkable independently of theology.

~/christian-local-questionThe canon-circle is genuine but local to Christian disputes about the church and the New Testament. Treating it as the universal problem of scriptural authority hides older Jewish questions: how inherited Torah, interpretive tradition, legal procedure, and communal practice authorize one another without requiring either scripture-alone or an infallible ecclesial list.
~/fallible-collectionBite the bullet. The canon is a historical judgment held at high but not infallible confidence, and that suffices. Certainty about the list was never promised; sufficiency of the books was. The price is conceding that the Protestant norm rests on a process Protestantism does not itself authorize.

~/consensus-or-coercionDid lopsided conciliar majorities record settled belief or fear of exile? Nicaea was near-unanimous and its holdouts were banished — but the fifty years following were dominated by Arian ascendancy and Athanasius was exiled five times. A vote that one-sided which then failed to hold for two generations is evidence against reading conciliar unanimity as coercive closure. What eventually settled Nicaea was not the count. It was the reception.
~/no-jamnia-councilThe “Council of Jamnia” closing the Jewish canon is a modern reconstruction, not an event securely attested by ancient sources. Rabbinic texts preserve disputes over books such as Ecclesiastes and Song of Songs, including whether they “defile the hands,” but no synod selecting and sealing the Tanakh. As with Nicaea and the New Testament, a tidy council story replaces a longer history of differentiated use, argument, and stabilization.

~/cThe portable assembly language of modern computing. C exposes memory, representation, and machine cost with a compact model that shaped operating systems and nearly every language runtime after it. Its power comes from what it refuses to protect; its longevity makes both its simplicity and its undefined behavior load-bearing infrastructure.
~/clojureA Lisp for hosted runtimes centered on immutable persistent data, expressions, interactive development, and a small set of composable abstractions. Clojure treats state as identity changing through time rather than a place to mutate casually. Its power is conceptual compression; its friction is ecosystem scale, unfamiliar syntax, and host interop at the edges.

~/bundled-unbundled-rebundledBefore Darwin, wisdom was trapped inside miracle. You had to believe a man walked on water to access the teaching about loving your neighbor. The miracle and the meaning were bundled. One container held both. Darwin cracked the container. The miracles fell away under scrutiny. But the wisdom didn't have to fall with them — it just lost its vessel. The wisdom is between containers now. Homeless. That is the crisis of modernity. Not that we lost truth, but that truth lost its packaging. The first container was myth. The second container does not yet exist. The third container is the mechanism — collective discernment that surfaces wisdom without requiring belief in the impossible. The algorithm does not ask you to believe anything. It asks you to compare two things honestly. The wisdom re-emerges through the comparison.
~/dangerThe failure mode shared by messianic epistemic-capture, messianic self-sealing-belief, and substitution. A total claim seals itself against error-correction by reading every disconfirmation as deeper confirmation. The sealing is unbounded because the object — the messiah, the final revelation, the eschaton — is by definition irreplaceable and cannot be lost. There is no exit.

~/jediAn order that treats the Force as relationship rather than possession. The Jedi bind power to discipline, service, and restraint, but their institutional form repeatedly confuses detachment with emotional denial and stability with wisdom. At their best they protect life without needing to own it. At their worst they become generals for a state they can no longer perceive clearly.
~/sithA tradition that treats passion as fuel and the Force as an instrument of sovereign will. The Sith see hypocrisies the Jedi suppress: desire does not disappear when forbidden, peace can preserve injustice, and power denied is still power. But their answer makes domination the test of truth, turning every relationship into hierarchy and every succession into betrayal.

~/doctor-manhattanThe ceiling case: perceives all moments simultaneously, restructures matter by will, exists distributed. The question he poses isn't who beats him but whether "fight" is a coherent concept at his scale. Useful as the upper anchor every chain-decay ratio eventually has to reckon with.
~/gokuThe growth-curve argument incarnate: any fixed ranking of Goku is wrong within two arcs. Strength that compounds through defeat, plus speed, ki projection, and instant transmission. The perennial debate is whether a character defined by getting stronger can be pinned to a tier at all.

~/ahsoka-tanoThe student who leaves without falling. Framed by the Order, refused by the council's cowardice, she walks out rather than let their failure become her identity — then spends years living the service without the brand. Proof that Jedi practice and Jedi institution are separable, from the other direction than Obi-Wan's fidelity.
~/leia-organaJedi as secondary vocation. Her primary greatness is political and moral leadership under empire; the Force training comes late and unfinished. Including her refuses the trap of ranking only temple-raised duelists — and still requires admitting that as Jedi specifically, she is not the center of this scope.

~/darth-maulThe raw, walking wound of the dark side. Cast aside by his master once he is no longer the most useful weapon, his post-fall survival is fueled entirely by a primal, obsessive rage and a refusal to die. He exposes the absolute ruthlessness of the Rule of Two: once you are defeated or surpassed, you are garbage. Yet, his survival in the shadows shows that the passions the Sith claim as strength can indeed keep a broken body alive through sheer force of hatred.
~/darth-plagueisThe scholar of the dark side. He seeks to conquer death through esotericism, science, and the manipulation of midi-chlorians, attempting to elevate the Sith from a political conspiracy to a metaphysical triumph. Yet his master-level science cannot cure the fatal structural flaw of the tradition: he is murdered in his sleep by his own apprentice. He represents the Sith attempt to transcend mortality through individual will, and the tragic irony that success in training an heir guarantees your own destruction.

~/categorical-threshold100:1 was the empirical threshold for pushing single-edge "different category" items below chain participants. 1000:1 didn't change the result.
~/chain-decayScores along an A>B>C>D chain halve at each hop. Geometric attenuation. Head-to-tail gaps look uniform even when intent-gaps aren't.

~/theosisThe unity shared by believers and God is not just nominally described in this verse. Rather it emphasizes a real union that is much greater than one might initially consider. On the surface, Christ is praying for the unity of believers here on Earth, but we may root this in the concept of theosis/divinization. This is, our process towards sanctification in God. Theosis is tied directly to our adoption as children of God, so that we may participate in the divine nature. This does not describe a substantial change or an altering of natures. Rather a participation in the attributes of the divine life of Christ. Insofar as we understand that we do not possess the divine nature by essence or by a new divine substance. Rather we participate in the divine nature by sharing in Christ's sonship, holiness, and Communion with the Trinity. An analogy of iron in a fire is typically used to understand what this participation may look like. Imagine a chunk of iron placed in a red hot fire, the iron may adopt the properties of the fire such as being red hot, producing light, and giving off heat and in this way the iron is fire or fire-like, participating in the properties of the fire here. However it is still substantially iron as our substance remains throughout divinization.
~/unityThe proof that that the world needs in order to believe in Christ is the unity of its members, the overcoming of divisions, the production of agreement and allegiance of all disciples.

~/epistemic-captureMessianic framing is not dangerous merely because it is grandiose. It is dangerous when it changes how the project handles evidence. Once the mechanism is imagined as the vessel of fulfillment, criticism starts to feel like blindness, failure starts to feel like temporary resistance, and adoption starts to masquerade as vindication. The project is no longer just making claims about the world. It is becoming harder to judge by the world. That is epistemic capture: sacred charge colonizing error correction.
~/self-sealing-beliefThe specific failure mode inside messianic framing. Every success confirms the destiny of the mechanism. Every failure proves the world was not ready for it. Every objection becomes evidence that the critic cannot see the pattern yet. Belief stops being exposed to correction because correction itself gets reinterpreted as part of the story. The system becomes hardest to falsify precisely for the people most devoted to it.
