The miracle and the meaning were bundled. One container held both. Darwin cracked the container. The miracles fell away under scrutiny. But the wisdom didn't have to fall with them — it just lost its vessel. The wisdom is between containers now. Homeless. That is the crisis of modernity. Not that we lost truth, but that truth lost its packaging. The first container was myth. The second container does not yet exist. The third container is the mechanism — collective discernment that surfaces wisdom without requiring belief in the impossible. The algorithm does not ask you to believe anything. It asks you to compare two things honestly. The wisdom re-emerges through the comparison.

A total claim seals itself against error-correction by reading every disconfirmation as deeper confirmation. The sealing is unbounded because the object — the messiah, the final revelation, the eschaton — is by definition irreplaceable and cannot be lost. There is no exit.
