~/love-is-self-sealing
Epistemic capture is usually framed as a failure mode: belief colonizing error correction. But love is self-sealing by design. When you love someone, their flaws become features (she's just a girl, she needs comfort) and their virtues become miracles (she's amazing). This "capture" is what makes the relationship durable enough to survive the friction of existence. A relationship where you objectively scored every action would dissolve in a week. The self-sealing nature of love is not a bug; it is the structural glue.

~/the-miracle-was-not-packaging
The bundled-unbundled-rebundled framework assumes the miracle was the container and the teaching was the contents. Separate them and the teaching survives, purer. But this is wrong about what the miracle was doing. When Jesus walks on water, the claim is not merely "here is a teacher, here is a credential." The claim is that God is the kind of God who acts in history. That the universe is not closed. That matter is not the final word. Unbundle that and you have not freed the teaching. You have changed it. "Love your neighbor" means something different in a universe where the dead stay dead than in one where they don't. The miracle was not packaging. It was load-bearing. Darwin did not crack the container. Darwin cracked the cosmology that made the teaching mean what it meant. The wisdom is not homeless. It is changed.
